Lynden Players has announced a new and exciting plan to take a show on the road, performing in different venues around the area, in response to a request from a neighbouring village. Our touring show will be PLOT and The Plot Thickens, an outrageous two part comedy written and directed by Kay Andrews-Kuhn.
Members and regular show goers may remember that PLOT was our festival one act play in 2019, described as “The rudest play I ever saw in Lighthorne” by Rod Chaytor, Lighthorne Festival Chair. Spurred on by this accolade, Kay has penned a second act to continue the action, and the two parts will be performed as a full length show. The original cast has returned, plus two new characters in Act Two.
Kay is looking for a male actor to play Guido, an unsuccessful fashion designer and boyfriend of flamboyant entrepreneur Jamie. Playing age 25-40, Guido is a fun, comic, character with an Italian accent. Please contact us if you are interested in reading for the part.
Show dates will be the weekends of 26/27 March and 1/2 April. Venues to be confirmed.
