Who Are The Lynden Players?

img_2470

The Lynden Players were formed in 1975 with a nucleus of members from a former Women’s Institute drama group. In pursuit of a moniker with a ‘rural but not agricultural’ feel, the name ‘Lynden Players’ was agreed upon.

During our show periods, typically September-December and January-May, we rehearse on Mondays at 7.45pm and Wednesdays at 7.30pm at Middleton Cheney Village Hall, which is also Lynden’s home for the performances.

The Players have always been fortunate in attracting members who not only wish to act, but work tirelessly on costumes, sets, lighting, production, hair and make-up, Front of House, catering, promotion and running the Box Office.

    • Hi Michelle,

Thanks for getting in touch! Tickets start at £7 for concessions (under 16s & over 65s) and are £10 for adults – if you click on the ‘Current Show’ tab at the top, there’s a link to the ticket booking site there which will give you some more info on family tickets and group bookings also 🙂 and if you click on the ‘Get Involved’ tab at the top, Just across from the ‘Current Show’ tab, all the information you need to know about joining the society is there, along with contact details for the society who’ll be more than happy to answer any questions! I hope this helps – let me know if you’d like to know anything else. Katy
